No war on Syria! Stop the U.S. war against African people!
The International People’s Democratic Uhuru Movement in St. Petersburg will be having our community meeting Sunday, September 8th at 4pm at the Uhuru House, 1245 18th Avenue South, to discuss the ever-growing crisis in Syria. The U.S. government is escalated its war rhetoric against Syria in the recent press conference by President Barack Obama where he said that military strikes would occur after approval from congress. This outrageous threat against the sovereignty of Syria is no different from the daily attacks by U.S. police in every Black community. In addition, the U.S. will be sending our sons an daughters to fight their dirty wars for Mideast military dominance and political influence.
America has been using the settler colonial state of Israel as its white policemen in the region and Syria’s opposition to Israel is the main reason that the U.S. is so adamant about attacking Syria.
We must let the people of the world know that we will not be tricked into believing that the U.S. has a right to determine the fate of the Syrian people.
Come and hear the Chairman of the African People’s Socialist Party and founder of the Uhuru Movement, Omali Yeshitela as he gives expert analysis on the Syria situation and explains why African people have to oppose an attack on Syria. We have to demand self-determination and sovereignty free from military attacks by the U.S. and its ruthless warmongering gang in the form of France, Britain and others.
No war on Syria! Stop the U.S. war against African people! Victory to Syria in its fight against U.S. terrorism!
